Where there’s no natural shade or there isn’t enough space for it, RO-FLEX shade sails provide a shady spot without
heat build-up. If a large area requires shading, this sail can be combined with other shade sails, or you can raise a separate request.
Using the infinitely height-adjustable handles, the sail can easily be adjusted in line with the sun’s position or can be fully lowered to the ground.
Thanks to this feature, the shade sail also makes an ideal play area cover, for example to protect sand from soiling.
As the sail fabric is water- and wind-permeable, there is no mould growth or decay.
For sandboxes up to 3.60 x 3.60 m for enclosed cover.

When set to arm’s height, the sail can easily be passed under and no ladder is required for adjusting the height. Our sun protection systems are ideal for large crèche play areas with slides, sandbox and play equipment, or for seating areas.The shade sail is made of polyethylene fabric and prevents heat build-up.
This means the conditions under the sail are similar to those under a tree, and light levels in the play area are not significantly reduced. When used as a sandbox cover, the sail permits moisture to escape, thereby preventing mould growth and decay. To ensure optimum cover for the sandbox, this should be no larger than 3.60 x 5.60 m.
